The Lava Hot Springs area offers many attractions for visitors
Rainbow Trout and German Brown Trout are caught in the Portneuf River, and Winter ice fishing is popular in the reservoir eight miles east of town.
River tubing is popular on hot summer days. The ride is wild and tennis shoes and jeans are recommended.
Mountain biking in the summer and snowmobiling or cross-country skiing in the winter take advantage of the nearly 3000 miles of trails that spread in all directions.
Downhill skiing is 25 minutes away at Pebble Creek Ski Area, known for its challenging runs and back bowls.
The Inn is nestled in the center of our small mountain town, and a number of gift shops are at our doorstep.
