My husband and I stumbled onto this fabulous Inn and what an unexpected find it was. Old and quaint and loaded with charm. We enjoyed a couples massage that was one of the best I've ever had and the mineral baths are PRIVATE. Quaint is code for "not everything is modern or perfect BUT this place is not to be missed if you are looking for laid back and romantic.

Welcome To The Historic Riverside Inn
A small, peaceful hideaway, the Riverside Hot Springs Inn is nestled next to the Portneuf River in downtown Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places with the National Park Service, the Riverside Hot Springs Inn is the only full service hotel in town, and features 18 guest rooms, world famous hot mineral springs, therapeutic massage services, a casual fine dining restaurant & lounge and venue space for events or meetings.
The Riverside Hot Springs Inn was built in 1914 and quickly acquired the label of “The Honeymoon Hotel” for its yesteryear elegance. The historical Inn was known to be visited by several famous people including President Theodore Roosevelt.
